Anyone still want to sack Flanno?

If they had JT or even DCE, they'd be in the top 4 and pushing for a premiership. Instead they are stuck with a good bloke at half back.

I look at it this way,by referring to the early games this year..
Against the Titans a silly pass thrown near the end and Roberts intercepts and scores .Sharks lose.
Against the Raiders at home.Near the end the Raiders fullback after a quick tap from his in goal, races down the full length of the field to score under the posts.Sharks lose.

Against the Warriors near the death,Sharks leading ,go to sleep and johnson weaves his magic to score.
That in my book is 6 point gimmees the sharks should have had in their pockets. And where would we be on the ladder then?Fill ion the blanks...........

Now Fll;no may not be everyone's cup of tea,me included, but he was hardly responsible for player ineptitude.

That is the thing that frustrates me,losing winnable games at the death.

Very keen to see Maloney in the squad next year.

Watched the game closely last night... He will add a different dimension to how we play.

Seems like a Menis type you hate him until he plays for your team then you love him.

The Raiders were entitled to think they had last weeks game won.

Our games are marginal.

We should have won some. We should have lost some.

Better to apply fresh thinking to new challenges.

We are where we should be.

Would any other Nrl team have Robson at halfback? Maybe one or two teams max. He's bottom of the barrel.

Disagree - we did enough to win 3 times, which was exactly Flanagan's point in the press conference...

Yeah but we have also won losable games so all that evens up in the wash.

As we won losable games, that makes the players(who went to sleep) involved in the winnable ones look even more ordinary.
Moral of the story it is an 80 minute game, not a 78 minute one.
You don't win it till the fat lady sings .

Yes we've lost some games we should've won.

What is most important however, is we have recovered from losing the opening 4 games to be in a relatively strong position & are in form, with the team cohesion improving by the game.

Can't help the losses but we are now a force to be reckoned with. Put it this way, teams competing for the top 8 like us would prefer not to be playing us.

Can everyone just stop for a minute take a breath from all the negative comments about our own team; the lack of faith, hatred for our coach, individual rants about one player in a team sport and just plain negativity so bad we will our own team to lose for silly purposes to just reflect on the idea that we are one win away from doubling our total wins from last year and that we sit inside the eight with plenty of home games for the run home to the finals and finally have a player score more than nine tries in a season and last years torture is well and truly behind us!!

Welcome Calensharkies. You're new here mate and still young. Get out while you can. This site takes no prisoners. I was young and naive, just like you, only six months ago. Now I'm twisted and damaged forever. Just look at the people here. They're all a bit nuts. So leave, leave now while you've still got time.

I was a bit meh about Maloney, but wow what a game he had. Still though, it proves he only fires when the Roosters are firing.

Maloney like every half in the world benefits from a forward that makes metres. Our forwards are not to dissimilar to the roosters. In most cases we can make plenty of metres in the first four hit ups but then don't have the class to do anything with it.

Some quick ball out to the backs with space might be all Beale needs, or early ball with a cut out to Holmes or an outside inside to barba.

Robson is reliable but doesn't have he class of Maloney.

I also think barba should be fullback next year, 5kg lighter. And for rest of this year.
