El you strike me as a closet AFL fan.

I reckon about 75% of your posts on these forums relate to AFL in some way. I know a quarter century of mediocrity from your team has left you a little embittered, but that's quite a lot for a sport you supposedly don't like

 Yeah righto. Just as soon as you prove that there is a scientific link between homosexuality and watching AFL

Found an article for you ED.

Homophobes should consider a little self-reflection, suggests a new study finding those individuals who are most hostile toward gays and hold strong anti-gay views may themselves have same-sex desires, albeit undercover ones.

The prejudice of homophobia may also stem from authoritarian parents, particularly those with homophobic views as well, the researchers added.

Well I'm still waiting for the proof that everyone at the Swans game will be a homosexual. You made the claim, the onus is on you to prove it

A souths fan brought it up pages ago, but can't see that anyone really had much of an answer.

Whats going to happen the following week if/when the AFL try to schedule the swans home final on the same night as the Souths vs Roosters friday night clash in round 26?

The NRL better be taking swift action right now to lock that f**ker in, because that's liable to be a record breaking crowd for the NRL and plenty of fans are already buying tickets for it.

The Grand Final rematch had already been played earlier in the year. Remember some dogs nuffie head butting slaters foot.

Agree with the rest of the post though

It was still a re-match between the most recent GF'ists of the league. In any other league, it would've been marketed and promoted as one of the events of the season and scheduled appropriately as such.

The Swans will almost certainly finish top 4, meaning they'll be playing Saturday or Sunday. Most likely, they'll be 3rd or 4th, so they won't have a home game week 1 anyway. Could be a potential clash in week 2 (week 1 of our finals) though.

Interesting. The AFL have the same finals series as the NRL. The Swans have to finish 1st or 2nd to get a Friday night home final. Currently sit outright 3rd. If they finish 5th or 6th, they won't get a Friday night final. As I mentioned in a prior post, the AFL don't f**k up their Friday night scheduling when they get the flexibility to get it right. It will be a top 4 game.

Last year the top 4 clashes were on friday night and saturday night respectively. The AFL system is the same as ours, so all games are live no matter what and as such they can be scheduled in any order they see fit.

And you can bet that the AFL would love to take another opportunity to f**k us up.

The only way there will be a clash in week 2 is if Souths lose week 1. Otherwise the games that week will be at the SFS and AAMI Park
