I have found that the players on Anzac Day usually come out just before kickoff scheduled time,so the kickoff isn't put back too far.For example coming out at 2.55pm most years.

ohhh, so they will watch the biggest game of the year when their side is in it but not give a f**k at any other time.

yep, i can hear the cheque for tv rights getting bigger by the minute.

and we all know channel nine are sacraficing all that tv revenue by not showing the game live because they have an anti storm agenda.

I don't know why you even bother!
Just re-bury your head in the sand where it belongs.

Well I don't think GTV Nine broadcasts to any other city...

You say that with a smug tone as if we are to know that GTV Nine somehow is a Melbourne only station? I dare say a lot of people on this forum would be unaware that GTV Nine mean's Melbourne only.

(What does GTV stand for to make it a Melbourne thing anyway?)

Sorry, perhaps it was a bit old fashioned of me to refer to television network callsigns, they used to be used a lot more before the advent of digital TV and pay tv.

GTV is the call sign for the Nine Network station in Melbourne, it stands for "General Television Victoria". The last letter of the call sign is the first letter of the state in which it broadcasts.

The other Nine network stations are:

TCN 9 = Sydney
QTQ 9 = Brisbane
NWS 9 = Adelaide
STW 9 = Perth

Hope this clears things up.

oh i hate them for sure but as for the reasons, you couldn't be further from the facts.

now go f**k yourself please

Well considering the "facts" you've posted on this thread couldn't be further from reality, please enlighten us.

And try to stick with something resembling common sense if you can.

fact - channel nine don't show regular league games into melbourne because that market doesn't give a flying f**k about league.

is that clear enough for you?

Why don’t we talk about the terrible ratings for the AFL in Sydney? The same AFL that gets great viewing times in Sydney? I wonder what the AFL Anzac Day match will rate against the NRL’s Anzac Day Match in Sydney?

Thats ratiings the Pink twinkies would kill for in Syd....
How about showing every Storm game live or delayed 2hrs (at most) for a season then judge.
