Are Kyle Feldt's kickoffs against the spirit of the game?

Kicking tee height is already mandated. Pat Richards and the Tigers got fined in 2005 for a home made tee that was above regulation height.

What that regulation height is I couldn’t tell you though, the NRL doesn’t seem to have that info listed anywhere in their rules.

The kickoffs are great. Why should we make it easier just because some people can’t catch a high ball?

Bring back the sand, every ground keeper will love it.

Bring back the leather ball, lets see this young punk, make it hard the catch on a really wet day.

Bring back the corner post, these young wingers make a mockery of scoring a try in the corner.

While I am at it, bring back the lineup before the game and check the fingernails and stud condition.

Oranges at half time, not gatorade.

For all your poorly worded sarcasm some of this still happens. Stud and nail checks still take place. The wingers miss the corner post, or ground it before contact, a lot of the time. Gatorade isn't always the first choice.
I have no real problem with the ball.

Because the team that just got scored on doesn't deserve any advantage. If we go down that path, let hookers strike for the ball in scrums again

I love how three quarters of the posters in this thread just assumed that GW's claim that kicking tee heights aren't regulated was legit.

It's right up there with old mate @Lambretta Hall of Fame rant

No there is nothing wrong with his kick offs. As it is the nrl has taken too much contests out of the game. Why on earth would you want to eliminate another contest for the ball. Do you want every play of every game to be pre determined? If so you might as well be watching a simulation of the game. PS4 anyone

Btw was doing this at the beginning of the year when the boys forgot to bring the tee.

i think every team should be allowed to utilise one of these things to kick off.

But you can only use it once per game, unless you’re behind by more than 30 pts when you can just keep wheeling it out.
