That is not what the word coincidence means. The best team of the year coincidentally won the grand final, it was a coincidence they played the 8th ranked team . . . the 'finals' don't have place dividends nor do they deserve any
Not when the NRL made the game all about Souths and handed the gf to them on a plate. They have the injury excuse. 2014 Bulldogs are easily the worst of the modern era. Never had a chance in hell.
Cowboys weren’t the second best side, not even close. They just got on a roll at the right time playing their simple mistake free game but others would have made for a more even GF.
I sort of get it, I have thought the same at times, for example last year all Melb needed to do was an inside pass and they ruin the Sharks' fairytale, Broncos or Cows are more likely to throw that inside pass but those two teams weren't good enough to make the GF.It's like you want to be salty about something but you're not sure what
Second is the first of the losers. The best team of the year coincidentally won the grand final, it was a coincidence they played the 8th ranked team . . . the 'finals' don't have place dividends nor do they deserve any
Probably one of the worst performances in a GF, but you can't say they didn't deserve to be there.
If you can beat the 5th, 4th and 2nd ranked teams in consecutive weeks you definitely deserve to be there. Just a shame they saved their worst for last
With that being said Cowboys just seem to be a good matchup for the storm. I can guarantee you they breathed a sigh of relief when the cows done the rorters last week, Rorters/Eels would have given them quite a shake last night.
It's a laugh, mostly Roosters fans telling themselves that to feel better about last week. Shittest team to come 2nd in a long while.Again, where is the logic in the statement that the Roosters would have done better?
They were soundly beaten by Cows and almost threw it to the Broncs who were thumped by Melb.
It makes absolutely no logical sense.

Lol agreed. It's a laugh, mostly Roosters fans telling themselves that to feel better about last week. Shittest team to come 2nd in a long while.
I already went over that, the Roosters almost full strength struggled to beat a Melb team missing all of their origin players. It's pure speculation obviously.
But it's also not rocket science to work out the 2nd place ranked team all year would be tougher match up for Melbourne than the 8th ranked team. Look at both the clashes Roosters/Melbourne had compared to Melbourne/Cowboys
In all seriousness the 2009 Eels team is the worst to make the GF,i think people are forgetting the absolute donkeys that Hayne carried that year
Luke Burt
Joel Reddy
Daniel Mortimer
Jeff Robson = LOL THIS SPINE
Matt Keating
80 year old Joe Galuvao
Ben Smith
Inconsistent headcases Krisnan Inu and Feleti Mateo
Michael Morgan carrying the Cowboys this season is nowhere near as impressive as what Hayne did,Hayne quite literally had zero Origin or International players in his team at that particular time, zero nada,at least Morgan had Kiwi international Jason Taumalolo and Origin players Justin o Niel/Coen Hess
Hayne > Morgan(Hayne also played a way better Storm team that had Greg Inglis alongside the big 3 and only went down narrowly in the GF unlike Morgan who got thrashed)
Michael Plodorgan
But Shane Perry won a GF against Melbourne and has a GF ring.
Shane Perry>>> Hayne Drain
I already went over that, the Roosters almost full strength struggled to beat a Melb team missing all of their origin players.
Cows lost to that same team by 1 point missing their origin stars.
So, again, it is completely illogical, Roosters wouldn't have been much better.
