I actually think the Sharks would have got flogged more than us.
The Eels yeah maybe they score a few more tries, all of these teams still lose.

Cowboys were lucky to even make the 8. Then they just got on a roll playing a certain way and managed to beat all those sides, great effort but it doesn’t necessarily make them better than those sides. Cowboys just found a formula that worked for them at the time but not the 2nd best side.

There is no way the Cowboys can be classified as the worst team to make a GF. Sure they got lucky in making the 8 but they played genuinely good footy when they got there. Its just Melbourne play a suffocating type of game(call it wrestling, whatever)and NQ just couldn't get into the contest. No shame in that, Melbourne are just that good.

It’s a very flawed concept, having a 26 round competition and then you have a totally separate knockout competition over a month to decide the winner.

It means you often won’t get the two best sides in the GF and that what happened this year. It was 1st vs 8th, that says it all.

Problem with the comp this year is there was no 2nd best team. The rest of the 8 were pretty average. The bottom 8 were absolutely pathetic. I've never seen anything like it.

I think we had a great season

If you'd told me when Thurston went down after Scott was ruled out we'd make the gf I'd of laughed at you

If you'd told me a month ago we'd make the grand final defeating the defending champions the sharks, the eels and the roosters all in Sydney to make the grand final I'd of laughed at you

We've played some awesome footy and our run to the grand final has made be a proud cowboy

Unworthy? Not after the month we've had and the obstacles we've overcome
