yes, they are and it could cost them.
Yes they can be overconfident and they can throw the ball around and it all turns to gold.
OR
they can throw the ball around and they can drop alot giving the sharks the game,

it seriously is going to be closer than you all think
My head : Sharks by 8
My heart : Sharks by 14

Heaven help you on Saturday! It will be a thrashing to the Sharks! I hate to break it to you when you have hacks like Kimmorley in your side you will not win a finals game! The one game Kimmorley was under pressure what did he do....he threw a great intercept ball to Matty Bowen on the chest!. You have no hope!

Well sorry Craigshark, Saturday night, you must be getting quite desperate if you are looking for small errors like that, maybe you should have abit more confidence in your team.

Touchy, it was a mistake by you. I just pointed it out. Don't read into things.

And what has it got to do with me having confidence in my team?

The side is not over-confident. Brown has transformed the attitude of the team this year, we're extremely focused on winning the premiership, but are taking it one game at a time. We've been playing semi-final football for the last two months now, we're respecting every opponent. As a dragons fan, I just can't believe how professional we've become over the last twenty rounds or so. In the past I've always steeled myself for an expected show of ill-discipline or a lacklustre display, but this seems to be a thing of the past now. To me, the dangerously over-confident side going into the finals are Parramatta. Although, I still think they'll make the gf.

Because you didn't discuss the actual point of what was said in the post, you just corrected a minor error that was so minor that it probably didn't even need correcting. But there are smartarses like you around so I probably expected it to be corrected. If you rated your side a genuine chance you would have discussed the finer points in the post. But then again, with the history or lack of it that your club has in the big games, it's quite understandable as to why you have so little confidence.

Lockyer led the Aussies to victory last year. Kimmorley was a passenger and always is in rep games.

All i was doing was pointing out to you that the Dragons Vs Sharks game isn't tomorrow night. If you want to watch the Sharks smash (confidence, just for you ;-)) the Dragons, it is on at 8:30pm on Saturday night.
Anyway i only got to the second line of your post, i almost fell off my chair asleep because of boredom..

I didn't need you to point that out for me, I knew that, just made an error in my post. Please go to sleep, the forum would be better served if you did.

Mark Gasnier is the man who will take the Dragons to the flag IMO. I fair dinkum rate the bloke in the top 5 players in the world and he should be a real standout this finals series.

i have noticed that when he comes up against a good defensive centre he seems to be shut down easily (Bowman in the Cowboys game crunched him every time he got the ball ) & even though the cowboys were soundly beaten Gasnier was ineffectual

Sherwin a PL halfback, hmmmm interesting, by God on his day Sherwin is certainly far more dangerious that that overrated idiot Kimmorley.

second?!!!!

since origin 1, he's been the most out-of-form halfback in the comp.
surely even a shark supporter would acknowledge that.

I'm sure Gaz will lift for the finals series tho. But your right against the good defensive centres he doesn't seem to shine as much but hes still a great player

The only media people that rate Kimmorley are the ones who are afraid to criticise anyone ie Matthew Johns.

Gasnier is playing within within himself for the last month or so, IMO...

Saints have kept their cards close to their chest across the board, actually.

Saw on the news that they had a parade through the streets of Wollongong. Now I understand that this is the 1st time that there has been a finals match in Wollongong but really shouldn't the players be concentrating on the match, the Sharks can spring a surprise and have won some good games this year.

While Barrett and co are saying that they aren't getting ahead of themselves I'm not sure if they are trying to convince the public or themselves.
Not sure of the relevance.
It was a just a fan day parade and great promotion for the game.
There should be more of it, from all the clubs participating in the finals. Are they doing anything similar in Parramatta?
How many would they get to a parade down the Kingsway, Cronulla?

You're spot on there, but he does have it in him, whether it's saturday night though, is highly unlikely.
