Are the Panthers the most disappointing team of this season?

Should never have released Ben Garcia.

That's right. With Ben Garcia in the Penrith pack the opposition teams would have had difficulty scoring, and difficulty stopping tackle busts and try assists from Ben. Right now he is injured, but before he got hurt he was carving up Super League for Catalans.

He might be a talented player but:

1. Super league isn't as high a standard as NRL.

2. Penrith have close to the strongest roster in their history right now. He wouldn't get a run barring injuries.

Season 2017 is the battle for derp minimisation.

Even with Souths, Newcastle, Wests nailed in to the bottom 4, on their day they can still be good footy teams.

Listen here mate. I don't rate their roster. There are at least 8 better rosters. So your assessment is wrong boy.

You might not rate their roster but so what? That means nothing. They have a damn good team on paper. Their halves have a premiership and world cup between them. They aren't performing up to the standard that they absolutely should be which is minimum 8th.

Gone quiet this discussion all right. Not hard to see why.

The bitch that is the top 8 has her legs spread wide for us at this very moment. We're going in, and this week the Cows have to travel to Rainytown with their reserve grade side. If they lose that they get us, rested and refreshed, while they are backing up from Origin. That will give us 7th spot, then its the Rabbitohs and Sea Eagles minus at least one Turbo brother which would give us 6th. We are hoping Pitchell Mearce can stay healthy for that week so we're again unaffected by that annoying Origin interruption.

lol there is not a chance on Earth that you beat the Cowboys in Townsville for JT's 300th NRL game, a fact you know to be true.

In any event, you are crowing about being in 8th despite having lost more than won, in other words you are there because Parramatta haven't had a bye yet and after this week you will be 1 of 3 teams to have 2 byes this year (whilst Parramatta have had none).

Your season has been an abject failure including a comprehensive defeat in round 3 and it will continue to be so. Best get used to it.

If winning by a missed forward pass is comprehensive by your standard I'd be very concerned about your football analysis.

As for the rest, no club can control the draw. They are making a good case for themselves with what they have. We are currently in the top 5 attacking teams in the comp since round 10. The top 8 will need to look out now that we are fielding our best team. You are right about the Cowboys. We get to have a real challange and I look forward to it.

More like the Roosters were comprehensively outplayed in round 6 against Brisbane when they were smacked 32 - 8.
That is comprehensive not a 2 point win from a forward pass.

Shut up you moron, we understand you are feeling insecure no need to death ride us. Honestly are all Roosters fans just big trolls now? Albert is the most reasonable of the lot all of a sudden.

Luke Walsh & Chris Sandow have also carved it up in the ESL. It just goes to show a bog average NRL player can turn it on in reserve grade here and first grade in the ESL.
Garcia was never even on the cusp on first grade selection here.

What is it about us they feel so threatened by? This vendetta against Penrith and it's players is weird.

I didn't expect the fishing to be this good.

You surprise me, i had more faith in you than this.

Sour grapes over 2003 GFwhich they lost. Sour grapes over the losing the 2014 QF against us.
I think they are just sour all round.

FMD is that the best you got?

In 2003 you guys were the better team on the day and all year and deserved your win.

As for 2014 it is about as relevant as our win against you guys in 2010 i.e. not relevant at all.
