Good points mate.
I don't expect him to give them a shot....as we can't replace first grade guys.
But the numbers 14-17 he needs to give 20 mins to, maybe 25 mins each game, to prep them.
Then the best 3 backs and best 3 forwards in ISP, develop them more one on one, so we have them understanding they are the emerging first graders.
The ISP team look flat, there doesn't seem to be much exciting vision being described to them about their futures.
Imagine if like Penrith we had 8 to 9 first graders out, I can't see anything but a thrashing.
Some interesting comment there Ouryears.
I'm not sure our ISP are flat, they are technically in 4th spot on that ladder, however, more so, very poorly coached and directed. All of them really do suffer from Maryitis, a condition of inflamed promises at the start of the season, only to then realise they are fairy stories which in turn saps the desire straight out of you.
Very importantly you've mentioned the Panthers. Currently 1st in NRL and 1st in ISP and looking through the list of players this weekend in their ISP squad, hardly a recognized player amongst them.
Maybe, just maybe, they are better coached and not filled with dreams at the start of the season, only train hard, play well and your opportunity will come.
