I'd like to see 'Hornets' (The fighter jet).

The location name is the one that is hardest to pick. Western Corridor, West Brisbane, South/West Brisbane, Ipswich, Western, South East QLD etc all have flaws. None obviously better spring to mind.

Hornets would imply a yellow & black colour scheme, wouldn't it? Hmm.. that's a bit of overlap with the Broncos...

I'd be keen on something with green, as a nod to Ipswich, but not exactly copying their club colours.

Not neceasarily. Based on the fighter jet it's a pretty colour neutral one. It keeps the link to Ipswich without just calling the team 'Jets'.

Maybe something like Green (Ipswich), Black (Souths Logan) & Grey (Actual Colour of the Jet). Or Dark Green & Dark Blue (Ipswich & Logan council colours.

Or just go with something unique.

I'm just spitballing to be honest, no idea really. Just as long as blue isn't their primary colour .

I just had a quick scour for green/black/grey shirts, and found this in green/black/white.

The combination shows promise for a distinct identity, even if the design is a little too soccer.

I'd be looking at other names that could unite all areas so "South Queensland" works, or "Western Belt" as opposed to Western Corridor, which the word "corridor" isn't an easy word to use in a club name, as it has the tongue twist/many syllables, and then what is the mascot?
Ipswich seems to area that the bid stems from, but they also state, Logan all the way to Toowoomba are involved
Which means it cannot be just the "Jets" as Toowoomba Clydesdales, and Logan scorpions, plus Souths Brisbane Magpies are all invovled as locations that are represented, now Scorpions and Magpies merges some time ago to become Souths-Logan Magpies.

I wanted to use the indigenous area as an idea regarding the name, just as GAZF did with his expansion idea, he called them the Jagera Jets, but i felt we could use a play on words and have jagera be Jaguar, so South QLD Jaguars, or Western Belt Jaguars,

There's a show on the SYFY channel called "The Expanse" its a show about the human race in the 23rd century, theyve colonized mars, and started to colonize around the moons near Jupiter, the people on Mars are called Martians, and the people who live past the asteroid Belt are the Belters. And they call anyone who live towards the sun, on the otherside of the belt the Inners, so basically any martians and earthlings.

Could keep it simple as the
WESTERN BELTERS

Looking at this nsw cup launch the black and yellow really stands out. I’d go with them colours for a new club.

Brad Fitter at it again suggesting that the NRL should relocate the Titans to Brisbane.

Does he not understand what "expansion" means?

I'm sure the QLD govt would be delighted with the Titans leaving to go up the M1 after building them a flash new stadium 12 years ago.
