I'd prefer King to start with Smith on the bench. Im not sure our halves appreciated Kaysas service. I certainly didnt. Good reports of Kings game in the 2s yesterday. Even played some half back apparently.

Yep Kaysa's passing is horrendous. He really struggles to get the ball to his halves on their chests. Norman was reaching over his head for them all afternoon - The shit service contributes to our clunkiness because it allows the defence to get up in our faces. It's amazing how a first grade (debatable) 9 can pass so poorly.

I think Kaysa's defence is over rated too. King actually had his best defensive game against the sharks (the last game he played), 49 tackles with 1 missed / 0 ineffective

Yesterday Kaysa made 34 tackles with 6 missed / 1 ineffective

I think the most important consideration is that neither is an 80 minute hooker, and both will inevitably fatigue...which is why I'd like a hooker on the bench.

I don't think Smith is up to defending long periods in the middle if needed

I think he would be worth a try, he has a lot of energy to offer in attack which we desperately need. Kaysa is just too small to be effective in defence, King can defend but that's all.

Smith has done some good things this season, he just aint a fullback.

Maybe cos he just plods around and doesn't back up? Gives me that impression anyway. Definitely better passing than Pritchard though.

I think its pretty obvious BA loves this kid like a son. Cant see him risking Gutho. Accidents happen but they could happen in 2 weeks time just as easy. Fingers crossed Ivor.

Pritchard got a LBA on the weekend, plus a few running metres. Good aggression and speed in defence but his technique is poor.

Agree ... i would ultimately plan on Gutho to fullback, but wouldnt rush him there
