Curious to see what Bellamy can do with Nick Meaney.
Yep me too. I haven't really seen Meaney do much ball playing but he's quick. One player who could definitely do with some bellyache guidance is Milford. I remember when Milford burst on to the scene with Canberra he was scary good

Melbourne are just the absolute gold standard in terms of identifying talent and getting the absolute best out of each and every player. What's amazing is Xavier Coates is the 1st player they've signed in 15 years who's a current origin rep, the last one was Michael Crocker in 2006.
Whilst everyone else is throwing stupid money around at overpriced rep players the storm have signed reserve graders/fringe 1st graders like Papenhuyzen, Addo Carr, Jahrome Hughes, Felise Kaufusi, Brandon Smith, Nicho Hynes, Justin Olam, etc and turn them into stars.

Basically, just rob the Tigers youth system.

Broncos will be doing us a huge solid by holding on and beating the Sharks today! Currently up 12-6, so there is a huge chance they throw that away.

IF you take away or give everyone their BYE points now, we are actually sitting in 8th - just have to keep in mind there's a couple below us who have a game in hand and we'd like them to lose those soon.

Ladder if you give everyone their BYE points now;

1 Storm
2 Panthers
3 Eels
4 Rabbitohs
5 Sea Eagles
6 Roosters
7 Dragons
8 Knights

Also something interesting going on with the Dragons, allegedly a huge breach in COVID restrictions. They may have some players out of the game, maybe even loss of competition points, who knows at this stage.

Things are finally looking good for us - touch wood!

I hate Ramien so much I was rooting for the Broncos today. And they suck so much I feel sorry for them a little.

Once we get past Melbourne next round, we have an extremely soft run home. Best placed team is the roosters in 6th, and they are limping towards the finals.

If we stay injury free, there’s no way we should be relying on other results to go our way in order to sneak into the finals.

Unless you're the Panthers or Storm then no, you probably shouldn't say there are soft runs.

You watch us play the bloody Broncos and they'll be the form team with a 4-game win streak... Usually how it goes for us.

How are we 9th on the table? If our f/a was a little better, we would be 8th. I honestly thought the Knights between round 3 and 14 were the worst I've ever seen. As bad as the Woodern Spoon Knights. Just how bad are the rest of the teams in the comp???

Very, the comp is full of awful, awful teams. It was a two horse race and the Panthers just lost both their halves...
