Result probably would have been similar!Could you imagine if we rested 16 players from last week? We’d have the ball boys running out in a jersey.

You're telling me we didn't do that?Could you imagine if we rested 16 players from last week? We’d have the ball boys running out in a jersey.
For what it's worth, that list is a blind dart throw.Had a quick read through the Top 100 highest paid players in the comp.
We have 6 players on the list, and that drops to 4 next year when Brailey, Hastings and KPP goes and Brown joins us. Correct me if we have anyone getting a big pay boost next year ($600K plus to make it on the list).
It highlights how important developing juniors are for us - particularly if we insist on not using third party payments like other clubs).
It also suggests that Brown isn’t having that big an impact on the salary cap - Brailey, Hastings and KPP takes up around $2.4M of the cap, Brown gets $1.3M. Guys like Lucas and Sharpe would be getting pay increases - and rightfully so.
I originally looked at the list and thought how is our cap in such a mess? However not many other clubs have many more than us on the list - Dolphins have 8, Dragons have 7. The Raiders have 4 players on the list - should that be our aspiration?
I don't trust Tigers to win that oneI don't trust Gold Coast to lose that one.
Nah we just have superstars like Jack Cogger insteadAt least our 7 stocks are not to the point Tanah Boyd is in the equation.
I dunno. Warriors season went to shit when Boyd was involved.Nah we just have superstars like Jack Cogger instead
