Should we swap Ash Taylor for Ben Hunt, straight swap. I know Ash Taylor has had a bad year but I think Benny Hunt would enjoy playing 9 more and is never going to replace McInnes, I think the Broncos have some good options at 9 and 7 going forward so if we wanted to move back to SE Qld, would anyone entertain that idea, He does have an outstanding kicking game. Im still happy enough with Hunt but for his sake if he wanted to play 9 we can't offer that.

Im just thinking that if the rumours he is homesick are true and the Gold Coast could probably do with a good 9 and he looks good at 9. With Corey Norman running the show would he be worth a punt just for his general play kicking, if we have Saab playing next year it will be very handy to have a pinpoint kicker to put bombs and cross field kicks up for him.

I'd take him , I think a change of club would do him great .... Always liked him and with the right coach and team would be great pick up .... But not with Mary and our team .....

Yeah I'm undecided on him but there was a time not so long ago that it was going to be he and Cleary going head to head in Orgin for years to come. I reckon Mary could get the best out of him..

Obviously these are all pipe dreams at the moment but he is on exactly the same money as Hunt and Hunt would play a lot better without the pressure of playing 7, Ash would probably play better behind a decent forward pack which on paper its not disputable that we have one.

Yeah I need to get a life and learn how to sit in front of a computer all day figuring out all the nuances of a rugby league forum so I can have a big flex. Cant believe I wasted Saturday working when I could have been practicing my replies to quotes.

I wouldn’t really call replying to someone a “nuance” of a forum, more like a basic part of dialogue..

You may want to look at quitting your job and studying the league form guide instead - you’d be surprised at what sort of better options you’d find for the team than Ash Taylor..
