He'd be made not to play close to the top side because they are together so infrequently. Suspensions and probably a couple of knocks would be enough to thrown a few fringe guys into the mix I imagine

Holman, Valeri and Bresciano are also still on a yellow though. Unless I'm very much mistaken, a second yellow v China would mean a suspension for the first game of Round 4, so it might be tempting for Pim to rest those guys

That could be the case, or they could wipe the yellow cards for the next round?

If cards carry over, they shouldnt play.

Sometimes though during qualification they wipe the cards when one phase of qualification starts and the next one begins. I'm not sure whether that is the case or not though here.

He got treated like sh*t in Turkey, and then had a pretty long season with Bristol.

He won't be on the bench for much longer. When he recovers, he will be in the starting side.
