The club did tweet after the Forum that Gus will personally respond to each question via email.

Hook walked into the forum after a few minutes of Gus starting.

Not sure if him being there meant Gus didn't want to address the questions.

The Club built this season up. They released that 'Moment' clip to launch the season that made all fans believe that this could be the year.

Now we are being told by Gus after 9 rounds that we are too young this season.

"Our time has come. Our moment is now"

2 months later...

We are 2 from 9.

"Actually these guys are a young team. Have patience"

It is not like we didn't know the age and experience of the team in the pre-season!!!

It's absolute crap. We're losing this season because of incompetence and complacency. Gus won't admit he was wrong about Griffin, because of pride and loyalty to his old friend. Griffin won't change because of stubbornness or lack of knowledge, and we'll keep getting told we're building and good things will come. It's ridiculous given the talent we have, talent that will be looking elsewhere in the future so they can actually have a chance at a premiership.

I was there.

Gus ripped the questions up and threw them on stage and just started talking instead.

That way he could manipulate the conversation so the club appeared to be in a great position.

Jesus.

This makes me furious and I wasn't even there. This is the same way he treats people on twitter who ask tough questions.

The young team excuse might carry more weight if;

1. Team selections were weren't so haphazard.
2. There was actual enthusiasm from the players

They're doing nothing but pulling it out of their arse when they need an excuse.

The 2 instances described above:

1. ripping up the request and launching into a speech and
2. creating an expectation then coming up with an excuse for not meeting the expectation

are both typical of the Gus I experienced some years ago.

I mean "forum" literally means the exchange of ideas in a group setting.

Gould just speaking to people isn't a forum.

He tore the sheets of paper in half and then threw them on the ground.
Something is very, very wrong. He didn't have to do this. He could have just said there were too many questions and they'll be answered by e-mail. It sounds a bit like Gus lost it.
