Yeah that really sucks. Just to join the chorus - have you tried interwebz dating? I was on about four different sites and it at least helped get me out of the house and meeting new people.

Anyway, sitting and home and not going out rules. Going out is shit. But that comes from someone who doesn't drink.

My Mrs loves her footy as much as I do. The only drawback of that I can think of is that I can't sneak away to a Saints game with just the boys - she's always with me. Regardless, the positives far outweigh that one negative. I think it should work in Dani's favour.

It is only weird in the sense that it can be hard to explain sometimes. There was a girl like this a year or so ago in my field of vision on a regular basis who fit the bill. I have probably seen better-lookibg girls & arguablysome people would say a few of my exes were better-looking, but not to me. My colleagues (male & female) generally considered her pretty, but not anything more. Needless to say I saw her in a whole other light. Absolutely the most perfect face since Miranda Kerr.

You just are what you are in terms of attraction & what speaks to you.

It's strange because my current girlfriend is by far the hottest girl Ive ever dated, but I see pics of these two on FB from time to time and I'm just taken aback by how attractive I find them. Nobody would say they aren't attractive, but they aren't conventionally hot by any stretch. Tall, curvy, buxom, American, fun, pretty faces, and down to drink and be silly. I've never had a girl like that, and I'm pretty sure their carefree personalities wouldn't suit me relationship-wise, but phwoar!

Give me a girl like that with a hint of geek, a nasty case of the travel bug, and a faithful heart and I'd be ready to settle down :lol:

I love my girlfriend and have a lot of fun with her, but we don't see eye to eye on certain things (the biggest being my desire to stay in China), so I'm bracing for her departure in July. Feeling like one more 'wild oats' period is needed before I settle down but truth be told - I'd be happy to settle down if the right girl came along.

I don't know how old you are, but if you haven't found out already, tastes change too. They're not always set for life. People take settling down far too cavalierly.
