If she's worth it, then "putting in the effort" should come naturally. Also, love and relationship are two different things. Relationship is hard. The love part is easy and of course, love forms the basis of any relationship.

I think you make sense, mate.

I love my girlfriend unconditionally, but the relationship is sometimes tough. She suffers from anxiety and some mild depression, and it throws us for a lop sometimes. But she's worth it.

So, my friend just got out of a long-term relationship with his girlfriend. Was with her since Year 12 (So, three years ago roughly). He ended up cheating on her with another friend of his after him and his girlfriend had a massive fight and he went drinking for the night and ran into this old friend. Now, he's saying "It's her fault for making me drink and go out that night". Not sure if he's being serious (Or just a moron).
