It's not shallow to have a physical type. It's not like people sit down and go "Well, what kind of people am I going to exclude from my selection - therefore making it harder for me to find a suitable mate?"

Attraction is attraction. I don't get angry if a girl doesn't find me attractive because I myself have had somebody interested in me who I was not interested in before.

We're programmed on an evolutionary level and as a part of just growing up to find certain kinds of people attractive. Some of us like 'em scrawny, some of us like 'em fat, some of us like 'em ginger. And thank God. If we all just had the same type, we'd be f**ked as a species. And it's just not feasible to expect people to like everybody and judge solely on personality. That's not what our biological imperative is.

Yeah...I didn't say it was shallow I said I didn't care for it. As in I don't have a physical type range. I don't care what others think about types. I couldn't really give a shit about what biological imperative my genes have.

My current gf is shit scared I'm gonna leave her because she doesn't have a perfect 18-year-old body, and I hate that societal conditions and what other men have thought of her have made her think like that.
