That is not an Ivan thing. It is what every good coach does. The only people that cant accept that are Sharks supporters. According to 90% of Sharks supporters on here, all of our 20's should be regular first graders, already. Thats because we have 5 guys over the age of 29.

Well I dont know much about your 20s team but I think you need to be careful with u20s and FG...Gould is very much of the opinion most kids should be held back till after they graduate the 20s or even longer...that being said we have debuted 3 NYC eligible kids this season...but 2 have then gone back to NSWcup/NYC and Bryce probably will too after a couple games.

6 game losing streak.

3 wins 8 losses 1 bye

13th spot. f/a -66

quite a few close losses and some pretty much on the bell after leading well and falling.

Injuries in the club filters right through.

Wonder how many players across all grades are out?

I wouldn't be to distraught with the position of our under 20's.

It is a very young team, remember Val Holmes has just about been the stand out of the team and is 18.

We have filtered a few SG Ball guys into the team, Jaymayne Isaako and Jaden Brailey are the 2 stand outs, plus we have the half back playing as well.

The team, may not be getting the competition points, but the kids are being groomed for first grade.

I would rather have a 20s team that produces 2 quality first graders and runs 13th than win the comp and produce no NRL standard players.

Good to fast track SG Ball players who have first grade potential.

Cronullafied. We run 13th or worse. The only 2 of NRL standard chose to leave. Pinning all our hopes on Brown and Holmes now.

Are you saying that we have only ever had 2 NRL quality players come out of our 20's?

You are worse than I gave you credit for.

Sharks coaches set a low benchmark for NRL quality. I.e. Jono. I was meaning Quality NRL PLAYERS NOT NRL Quality.

No Doubt , the Sharks clique would count Gardner,Stapo, Soaphanger Mills, Townend etc.

When did the 20s start? Can't remember 2008 I think.

Since then I can recall Lichaa,Prachey and ? They are on potential to date.

Happy to see the list from the inner sanctum. You see we are last and not going to good in the 20s. I have a point.

I don't count Frizzell either. Overrated lump. Leutele is piss average.

By the way, I give you the same credit level as our coaches etc. Touché. It's not me who cost the club 1million+.

Is our lack of success due to poor recruitment, poor coaching or both. Cant way to see the list of who you see as NRL quality from the 20s since 2008. 4 are playing for Cronulla Caringbah.

1 top notch game in first grade becomes 2.

Scored an opportunist try & also was heavily involved in another.

Class act whether some like to admit it or not.

Still can't believe the club didn't sign this kid up long term and shy he was never really given an opportunity in first grade.

Many years ago I used to read journalist write ups of games and wondered if we had been watching the same game. The question was answered somewhat when I noticed several in the Members pretty much watching the game through the bottom of a beer glass. I'm wondering if our retention people were doing the same as they watched Peachey play. Admittedly, there's a huge gap in standard between the NRL and NSW Cup, but Peachey was head and shoulders above nearly all in that grade.
I feel ill when I watch Peachey destroying the Panthers opposition, thinking who was the @#?*& who let him slip through our fingers. I wonder where THEY are now, as hasn't Callan Park been shut down for a while.
