Barett has been AWFUL this year. No thanks- utilty or not. Wing has been just as ordinary. The one I would have gone for, if 100% fit, is Gower. That said Thurston is the best one availiable.

Agreed. Both wingers for Australia are playing in the centres. It's got to be disheartening for Grothe and others who play that position week in and week out.

The side is somewhat short on props - O'Meley and Civoniceva the only specialists. Obviously Simpson will be mainly playing prop from the bench.
