look at it this way

pomms strenght is their batting and thir bowlers ability to get reverse swing, so lets prepare a wicket to suit our batsman (flat) and wait till the ball gets old before we get our wickets

admittedly the ball gets older in Englnad earlier on, due to their wickets, all they need to do is win the toss and they are in the drivers seat, which they did.

good luck to them, they have worked out a sucessfull formula and they are trying it on

along way to go yet, but good to see a competitive series

unfortunatly we in for about 3 days of rain, according to the weather forecast

The good old British weather might just save the Ausie blushes in this Test series but theres no doubting the England team has pummelled the Ausies.
