Cricket NSW should take all shield games to places like Newcastle, Bankstown, North Sydney, Hurstville etc... The SCG is great but some of the suburban grounds are wonderful aswell and lets face it only a few hundred odd will turn up anyway.

I agree but there is some player association agreement about having most games at the major venues. State sides should go to NASA for pre season training.

I hope they don't and Sachin gets given LB 3 times off massive inside edges, VVS given caught down the leg side off the thigh pad twice and Sewag is caught slashing at a no ball the umpire missed, whilst we have guys nicking em and get the benefit before going on to score massive tons.

Had a look at the future tours program and according to that next summer it's Sri Lanka back here, This time for 3 tests 5 ODIs and 2 T20s. South Africa will be here for the early part of the summer. It also shows the Windies here for 5 ODIs

I think we play Sri Lanka in two tests and South Africa in 4 tests
