Milford is more deserving than Mata'utia, but they dont need more fullbacks/halves.

Milford got done by Moses in the U20's when he hadn't even played first grade. The only reason I could see Milford being there ahead of him is that he's played a full season of 1st grade, which Sione would have too had he been old enough. In 7 games he's proven he's an absolute star.

Ive watched plenty of his games. Hes a great talent. He did a great job on the wing for the Knights. Defensively still struggled in the centres in the U20s. Hes not a star yet. Or deserving of a test jersey should he get one.

Has he? I remember him keeping that QLD left side of Milford, Mago, Lee and Folau pretty quiet. You're not basing his defence of that one miss tackle on Solomone Kata are you? Anyway if you think Sione's defence is bad, what do you think about Milford's?

His defence in first grade was very good though. On his debut game at fullback he had JWH, SBW and Moa all running at him countless times in broken play and he sat them on their arse every time. Sheens has acknowledged that his defence is still raw but he's 18 and I don't think it's any worse than some of the other backs selected in the squad.

As others have pointed out, it's a changing of the guard in the Aussie team at the moment. Might as well give these kids a taste while there's injuries in the squad rather than go with someone that probably has no chance of getting a look in in the future when a full squad is available.

It's good foresight by Sheens IMO, giving some likely future Aussie reps a taste now while Smith, Hayne and co are still around to show them what it's about. If he plays it will only be against Samoa anyway.

Lillyman was one of the best props in this years Origin series.

It's outrageous and those relic selectors with their agendas need to go.
