Dylan Walker is far from a dream. I reckon he'll be in the squad even if Souths lose

Mansour should make it. Moylan could be a smokie for the final squad. Huge lols though at Sheens suggesting Docker.

or vice versa

Nope they will go Inglis because Inglis's made the GF and people are stupid and only remember the last thing they saw despite the fact Hayne won FB of the year and Dally M player of the year

100% Inglis will be FB

So Segeyaro hasn't been added to the Aust train on team list.
But he probably won't make himself available for the Kumuls Test vs Tonga because he wants to play for QLD next year.

KANGAROOS coach Tim Sheens has given both grand final squads extra motivation, declaring “there will be a rush of new blood” for the end of season Four Nations tournament.

As many as 13 players who toured with the Australian squad at last year’s World Cup could be missing because of injury and suspension — and that has opened the door for a stack of players to snatch a spot if they stand up in Sunday’s NRL decider.

South Sydney young guns Dylan Walker and Alex Johnston are obvious targets while young Canterbury forwards Josh Jackson and David Klemmer are in line for selection.

But Sheens said every player on the field who is eligible to play for Australia has a chance to win a spot.

personally i can australia getting dicked by both NZ & england.....does anyone know the odds on a NZ v ENGLAND final??

David Klemmer being talked about as a bolter?

Jesus christ, Sheens is really scraping the bottom of the barrel there.

I reckon that's a horses for courses selection with Sheens trying to replace Tamou or Fifita with another available big boppa.

I'm not completely against it either.

I'm pretty sure you have said that every year you've been on here spud.
Would be great if it happened, but highly unlikely.

dicking NZ yeah but not australia, ive always thought we had a win in us against australia but defo not 2...
look...all the players sheen is on about don't even have origin experience let alone test experience!!! they've got a tricky nz game first up...then us....its not unrealistic to think this really, really green kangaroo team could lose both!

lol England can barely put up a respectable performance in their own country against us. No chance in f**king hell are you going to come within 40 of us in Australia, keep dreaming champ.

i'll quote that for future reference...

some of you aussies are really starting to believe in the superman complex...trust me,take out half the 1st choice 17 and you come rocketing back to NZ & England level so fast its funny...

some have compared this squad to the apparent injury ravaged 2003 ashes kangaroos...the difference is practially all the players from 2003 where involved in that years origin and the "2nd" choice half back pairing of kimmorely & gower still had nigh on 40 test caps between them...

To be honest Tuqiri wouldn't be such a bad option.

He has hardly put a foot wrong the last 2 or so months and has been more than dependable for Souths and while a few of the younger guys may be pre-mature Lote has done it all in comparison.

I echo the sentiments on Daniel Tupou I don't think the guy is up to International level and I think Johnston will eventually leap him for Origin - I don't think AJ is quite ready to be a first string Kangaroo but I think the experience of being there amongst will be invaluable for future selection.

Which doesn't leave much option seeing as though Josh Morris is playing on one leg at the moment also.

Would be kind of being in the right place at the right time for Tuqiri in my opinion.

Dylan Walker could play on the Wing in a pinch though considering he roams all over the field and has played Fullback before so you'd think he'd be fairly sound under the high ball.

i know that...you know that.....but some are that worried by the lack of depth that they'll consider a 35 year old veteran

Our depth is fine, paranoid merkins. I would like to see England win actually, it would be good for the game worldwide not so much here. But it's never gonna happen.
