Australia are still very strong in the spine of the team. Their halfbacks are better than any combination England can produce even without Thurston, and they still have oodles of class 1-5. England's backrow looks poor especially with Sam Burgess missing, and most of Englan'd replacements are simply not up to standard.

What I really want to see is England giving Australia a proper game for 80 minutes. If they win, great, if not sobeit.

Look at the teams that played the GF. Hell the last 4 teams left. you can count on 1 hand the amount that would make a full strength Aust team. Yet they were good enough to get deep into the semis. There's plenty of depth. This will force the dinosaurs picking it to use them.

This is the team I would pick and would win it.
