this is all about rorting the salary cap. It could be a charity or anything else. The club and manager are to blame if it stinks. And yes, it stinks.

^ this . The bit that puzzles me is why would the boss of the centre ( ex bunnies board member )decide to all of a sudden without the permission of his superiors seek out the Rabbits requesting to sponsor GI for the princely sum of 90k per year ?

Surely a much smaller fee would have cut it for a charity , but that wouldn't have helped Souths keep him would it .

What would be a great read would be all incoming donations to this charity . Any from a Redfern based NRL club in particular .

No person I know expects 100% of the money donated to will go to "ground outcomes" To suggest this shows your ignorance. Not that anyone would be surprised.

The fact that GI is prepared to be paid from funds that are meant to be spent on addressing & helping indigenous health outcomes, says all that needs to be said.

For the millionth f**king time, he like any other normal person would have assumed the money was coming from a dedicated marketing budget. If the wrong thing has been done it is not his fault.

The sensible people here realise that the truth is this:

On top of that, your argument that Inglis is an ambassador / raising awareness etc. is destroyed as even those that lack the perception to realise the whole truth would in no way care to part with any of their hard-earned donate to this charity with the thought that their money is merely lining Inglis's already well-stuffed pockets.

I'm sure he cared about their dedicated fund . " no sir I won't take boats or payments from dodgy sets of books , dedicated marketing budgets only thanks "

So that makes "normal" community work (community work that is not with the Indigenous) less valuable.

f**k off
Not sure if you've heard of 'Closing the gap' but there are dire statistical reasons for having to treat the Indigenous population more vigorously when it come to healthcare.

If anyone thinks a Piggins ally would be helping Crowe and HaC to be successful they are severely deluded.

Must be why it's been registered with the NRL who don't have a problem with it.

The NRL doesn't have a problem.

Souths don't have a problem.

GI doesn't have a problem.

AMS doesn't have a problem with GI.

The Feds might have a problem with AMS.

Apparently there's a couple of geniuss on this thread who think people work for nothing who have a problem.

All the more reason why the money should go to direct spend on health care for the indigenous. Not to line the pockets of an NRL player.
