Away jersey colour debate

Original Warriors jersey (1995) was the blue & white of traditional Auckland colours, plus red & green which I believe were added to distinguish from the Bulldogs, plus they meshed-in well with the original main sponsor DB Bitter.

We’ve never had a green away strip but we did have a red one in 2000. It wasn’t popular, probably because they pretty much never won in it.

You accusing others of being emotional and irrational is remarkable, but that aside, this thread is a thing because you and others derailed the 2024 jerseys thread with off-topic discussion that had veered away from 2024 jerseys and had become about away jerseys generally.

That, and people are entitled to disagree with you, whether you think they're rational or not.

They're absolutely entitled to disagree, but they'd have to actually engage with an opposing point of view for that to be possible. . . They're not, they're just agreeing amongst themselves.

BTW, I didn't say the were being emotional (i.e. getting upset), I said they were using emotional reasoning, and the fact that you think I care enough about this place to get emotional about it says more about you and your comprehension skills than it does about me.

Your repeated elongated responses suggest the opposite in terms of being emotional.

The fact you dismiss opposing views of groupthink is another issue altogether.

Raiders home, vs Rabbits away is pretty much green top /white shorts so yeah they do clash, but so do most of the competitions blue kits

Do Souths actually wear the white away shorts + trim in Canberra though?

In 2021 (R8) they wore black trim & black shorts
Same in 2020
Same in the 2019 prelim.

Each time both sides have been fairly easy to tell apart.

Yes, I've gone and checked it out all the way to 2002, there was a few times theyve come close, but the souths kits were mostly white and just the shoulders were either green or red or both, but yeah easily not clashing with the raider home lime..

The one i do remember was a reserve grade game, where souths juniors vs raiders they were both green and white shorts, i remember it well coz i recently spoke about how dumb they were to both have a similar kit, then we were told they don't really fork out for away gear at most reserve clubs, for the odd match up

I stand corrected, well done to the green teams for not wanting to clash
