Well, worry about that in 30 years ffs!
Thats the problem we stick a bandaid on things, we should be planning for the future yesterday not in 30 years
Well, worry about that in 30 years ffs!
The bottom line is that part of that $6m was also used for junior development in Victoria. The bottom line is that $6m will reduce when they move into the new stadium this season.Bottom line is that Melbourne are underpinned to the tune of $6,000,000 per season.
I wouldnt say sport as such is the number one past time. I would say AFL is the number one past timeThis is in a marketplace where sport is deemed to be the number 1 pasttime.
TrueAt the same time, the Sharks and Newcastle (to name the 2 most obvious) are struggling to make ends meet.
The majority of revenue the NRL receives is from TV. It could be argued that the NRL receives that greatest ratio from NZWhy would you go outside traditional areas, like Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth to expand our competition?
A second team in Brisbane would create more TV opportunities if the NRL continues with the current Friday night schedule. If it was my money, and this is a big point, as it is a massive investment, I would be looking at either the Central Coast and a 2nd Brisbane team before looking at entertaining a team outside of the existing states.
even Melbourne are a 50/50 proposition at this point and I would punt them prior to Cronulla and Newcastle.
True and TV rights and the generous grant back the struggling NRL cubs is what keeps the aliveTV rights and News Ltd ownership are the only things keeping Melbourne in the comp.
Kerry Stokes has got nothing to do with News Ltd or the NRLBut 2012 is approaching fast and if Mr Stokes doesn't see the value in a team outside of the traditional areas then so be it.
The Kerry Stokes doesnt see value in the NRL outside NSW and Qld? News Ltd is exiting the game because they see that now the game can stand on its own 2 feet. They also are setting themselves up for bigger things with federal government legislation that could see Telstra being forced to sell their half interest in Foxtel, with the pending NBN rollout. If you think News Ltd are exiting the NRL because of the Storm, you need to give yourself a dozen uppercuts,In my opinion, this is the main reason that News wants out of the game now.
Are Cronulla gonsky's yet. Fu*k they sh*t me big time. What a waste of space. Die baby die. You're just holding back the league big time. Perth or a second Brizzy team are just sweating bolder turds on you fu*kers taking a bullet to the head once and for all.
For fu*k sake, do us all a favor and just do it, pull that trigger, I swear you won't feel a thing. It would be the greatest thing you bunch of terminal reject losers ever did for the game. So go on, what the hell are you waiting for? A premiership? P-leeease, the second coming is more likely or believable.
Just put a slip knot around your neck, a tablet of arsenic under the tongue or just gut yourself like the rotting fish that you are. But whatever you do don't just lay there thinking that no one will notice and eventually something will change for the better. Cause IT WON'T!!! As history has shown us with you fin flops time and time again, your rotting smelly dieing stenchness just keeps on getting stronger. So like I said and soooo many others are thinking. Feed yourselves to the sharks you great big useless mother !@#$^%&!!!!
There now that feels much better, I might go and play with the kids now. Ciao.
Vossy, It is quite clear that your club should commit suicide in it's 41st year of operation so we can bring back 2 clubs who lasted 2 years each.
Yes, he is entitled to his opinion. He's the only nunce that wants it!
Axe them for Central Coast........
now we're staying around just to spite you..*middle finger*
yeah, cause we are really dying *looks at development and the massive overhaul the front office has recieved*
Ipswich-Logan Jets? I think a team like that would increase the value of the TV rights.
no the rumour I heard was raiders being moved to logan. pretty out there I know but my old man has a mate in the council who says it isn't official but it's being investigated i.e. building a stadium. and that they had a positive response from NRL
We want to punt the Sharks and allow clubs with supporters in like this knob jockey?
Perth and a second Brisbane side died in infancy. Cronulla are still around. I wonder at all the Annandale fans waiting for Cronulla to die so they can get back in!
I loved how he brought up history  What are you - f*cking Lazarus?
If and when Cronulla die, watch this space. In the meantime - f*ck off.
I'm sure that rumour came up like a year or two ago. The Raiders spokesman laughed it off and said that if they were going to relocate to SEQ (which they weren't) they'd move to somewhere like Toowoomba where they'd have their own market/identity.
Lets have another 10 Yawnion sides to keep you barred up.Let's have another 10 NSW teams just to keep Loudy happy.
L4P, I thought you were smarter than some of the Sydney hating dimwits on here. I would love Perth to come back. I want the game to expand - to be strong as it can be.Why do you (and others) use the failure of teams during the SL War as some kind of reason not to expand back into these areas? Look at the Gold Coast Titans. The comp is a million times stronger now and there is no reason why the Reds or another SEQ team wouldn't be a massive success.
How hard is THAt to comprehend?
