Although Cronulla has 20 plus years on the Broncos, they lack prestiege. Brisbanes 6 premierships, truck loads of great players, single city support and stadium, adds to it.

The Raiders have been around longer then Brisbane and Newcastle, but no one (except skeepe) would say that they are more (for lack of a better word) significant.

To simplify this thread

Which team to relocate or f**k off.

Cronulla - struggling financially, and on field, ut surviving via their own means.

Melbourne - Needs to be propped up to the tne of $6,000,000 - $8,000,000 by news ltd.

Wouldn't it be nice if every club had an endless pit of money to ensure their survival.

Easy decision for mine

If Cronulla had the same funding as equal to the Broncos, The Sharkies would have had won a few Grand Finals...NRL a fair an equal competition what a load of bullsh*t.

He still doesn't fuggen get it

I'll just comment on one of your idiotic statements while I try and control my laughter, we have more of a history then the broncos, 20+ years more then the broncos

I'm disappointed. I was hoping you'd at least post another stupid picture.

Fair dinkum - now it's an obsession to get rid of Cronulla.

If they are going to die, let them die.

If they are going to survive, why knife them? If the Sl war taught us anything - it's that you only damage the produce when you kill teams. What's the friggin point???????

The NRL is a fair comp. Nothing is stopping that Sharks from moving out of the tiny Shire to somewhere with over a million residents, like Adelaide. You'll never be able to compete with the Broncos or Storm or Titans or whoever else while you stay where you are.

The prestige is what brings in the sponsors and non-local/new fans, all of which equals more money to the club and ensures its health.

It is far more important than history. The Bears had history and look what happened to them?

And Adelaide is GUARANTEED to be better than where they are?

Nothing can be guaranteed mate.

Even if they just persevered with playing one or more games in Adelaide a year they would've been able to take advantage of the comparatively massive new market (juniors, sponsors, fans). Instead they resorted to navel gazing and abandoned a great idea after a single year...

NFI. RL in Brisbane begins and ends with the Broncos, doesn't it? Before 1988 everyone here just followed cricket all year round...

BS - I grew up in Brisbane and most people I know up there hate the Broncos and follow a Sydney team. BEFORE 1988 everyone had a Sydney team to follow as well as their local Brisbane team - go the Dolphins, QLD's NRL next team. Alot of these people kept that Sydney team over the Drongo's.

Saying they followed cricket year round shows your lack of depth (or history) in appreciation and understanding of QLD football.

There are plenty of SE Qlds dying for another SE Qld team to support so they DON'T have to supposedly support the Broncos.

You completely missed the point. In fact you're actually supporting what I was saying.
