Here's our leaderboard after Round 1:

Note - rankings are determined by the following:
1) Number of Backpacker points
2) Number of games played (fewer is better!)
3) Total marks awarded

Great work League Nut, love the spreadsheet/table.

Is it worth someone reminding everyone in here why these rankings are named in honour of Backpacker, for those who are new to the site or F7s?

I've added it to the history section of the F7s website bartman.

Also, The Backpacker Rankings will be posted on the F7s website as well and I've made a point of including the background.

The Backpacker Player Rankings
With the 2004 season in full swing, F7s forummers were delivered the sad news that Easts player and F7s referee, 'The Backpacker' had passed away. A foundation member of the F7s in 2002, 'BP' played an instrumental role in the push to keep the competition afloat in 2003. His passing added new meaning to the F7s when it was announced that the 2004 semi-finals would be known as 'The Backpacker Finals' and the 2004 premiers would be awarded 'The Backpacker Memorial Shield'.

The F7s player rankings for the highest scoring players are known as 'The Backpacker Player Rankings' in honour of The Backpacker who instigated the point scoring system.

:thumn Cheers Willow.

Just thought with the annual influx of new teams and new players into F7s, some people may not read up too far to learn what it all means.

Hi guys. Just curious - is there any kind of award for the team that generates the most combined points?

There is an award for best team score of the year.

The full list of awards are here: http://f7s.leagueunlimited.com/prizes2006.asp
Past winners are on the history page.

Thanks, Willow. What I actually meant was...

Is there any kind of award for the team which has the most combined Backpacker Points between all of their players? (So, for example, the Knights currently have a total of 6 points - 3 from les_norton, 2 from MrCharisma, and 1 from The_Joey_Show). So the leaderboard for that at the moment would be:
  1. Eels 6
  2. Knights 6
  3. Panthers 5
  4. Warriors 4
  5. Pirates 3
  6. Raiders 3
  7. Bluebags 2
  8. Lions 2
  9. Sharks 2
  10. Rabbitohs 0
Do you get my drift?

No worries Jesbass. I was just saying what we did have.
To answer your question, no we don't. But it shouldn't be too hard to work out.

Hey LN, it might be easier to keep track of these scores if you just edit the very first post of this thread, rather than spreading each round out throughout the thread. Just a thought. ;) *shrugs*
