I'm expecting the Bronco's backrowers to drop a notch with the great 5/8 retiring. They won't get the same service nor field position. And probably won't get the same calls in defence.
Fair call, Lockeyers retirement will hurt. To what extent? time will tell..

Fair call, i'd say manly and tigers are right there with them after hearing that view. I'd also say Titans aren't far off.

11. Cooper
12. Sims
13. Johnson
15. Hall/Paterson/Bolton
16. Hall/Paterson/Bolton
17. Taumalolo (prop or second row, hopefully there from round one)

then Leary, Hogan and Reithmuller behind them, plus some U20s stepping up.

Also, the Dogs backrow is shit, but has probably the best NYC backrow coming up in Finucane, Jackson and Burr.

Hard to go past this, a well balanced backrow.

Although I'd be tempted to shift Sims into the front row this year given the depth you've got in the backrow compared to the front row.

We have Lewis who's the best backrower/lock in he comp but not much else. Plum is a great defender. Hopefully Austin can step up

With Watmough, Stewart and T-Rex all being chosen for the four nations I'd suggest any club would struggle to match them. Add to that all 3 play 80min but it's nice to have Buhrer and Galuvao there as backup. Gallen, Thaiday and Lewis are all right up there among the best back rowers/locks in the game but as a well balanced, intimidating back row I'd take Manly's over all others.

This is the one where I can confidently say The Broncos are the Benchmark. All International 11-13. Te'o and Gillett would be starting for most other clubs.

There is also the possibility of:
Tyson Frizell, Tyrone Peachy, Wade Graham, Trent Grubb & Fraser Alcock

As are tigers

11 Ellis
12 Blair

With Fulton to spare and to remember we would've had Dwyer as well ....

The Storms starting 3 are good to average, not much to be said after that unless a young player steps right up. Cant wait for that best 1,6,7,9 thread to pop up again.

Probably our strongest position (like a lot of clubs).

Individually Melbourne aren't that flash in the backrow but when you have the Hinchcliffe and Kostjasyn working in tandem you don't need individual brilliance.

I'm happy with our backrow

Apparently shack has shed down his weight to what he was at Roosters when he was mostly lock/backrow

O'Hanlon and Lasalo will get better lasalo showed promise last year

Smith and Hindy are hard working backrowers and Reni has that spark in our backrow. While Horo adds a punch off the bench
