This guy has been the standout player in the NRL this year by a mile and was a standout in the WC up until the final. He has one bad game and everyone wants to crucify him

Sure he might be a bit of a c**k but to knock his footballing ability is laughable. Get a grip, or better still, loosen it

He got us off to a good start with two assists. But along with most of the team lost his way after that and came up with a crazy error to gift a try. If Lockyer had of put the ball down properly for 14-0 it might've been a completely different story. Why aren't we bagging him as well then?

I think Silly Billy was reading too much of his own Press throughout the week and had a brain snap and actually BELIEVED he was indeed The Flash, and tried to beat the man on the outside.

What was the tackle count at the time?

Pretty selfish decision.

But that is what he is known for. Its like his thing.

Other players may or may not have "turned up", but Billy Slater threw the World Cup to New Zealand to keep til next time last night.

But yeah, he scored heaps of tries in the rest of the tournament, doesn't mean sh*t when he pulls that rubbish out when it counts.
