5 points ahead of 3rd spot and a +6 for and against..

All looks good.

I watched it and although it was 2am, it was nearly sleep inducing. We lacked any sort of penetration and if only for the Bahraini's inept finishing, we could well have lost 2 or 3-0.

We have as much creative freedom as a Chinese journalist under PV.

i'd have thought an italian supporter would respect the art of getting results ... he got a win away from home in the middle east ... what more do people want? ... we didn't warrant a win true BUT it showed we hung in there until the end when we could have easily tried to escape a draw ...

the win says more for their mental determination than anything else which is something australian sides have lacked

Spot on.
Did I hear the commentators say it was an entertaining (or exciting game or something along those lines) game despite the 0-0 score midway through the second half?
Thought I had gone to sleep.
Nobody will remember the game in the future for anything anyway apart from the fact we got the 3 points.
Great result very average game.

That's all well and good, and most definitely better than watching Arnold's sh*t AND losing football. But I want to enjoy watching sport and I have to admit that last night was the earliest I've fallen asleep in a week. The game literally put me to sleep.

It's like when Terry Butcher said that Sydney didn't mind what football it saw, as long as it was winning football. Australians for the most part will not pay a second glance to that sort of spectacle, which means back to the dark days of people only watching big matches.

Had plenty against Qatar.. Was one of those games where they were all over the socceroos every time they got the ball..

Was sh*t to watch that's for certain..
