So ODI's are now used to select test cricketers. Then what is the point of playing Sheffield Shield? Let's just can it and replace it with more Ryobi Cup games.

Marsh last 6 scores for WA in First class cricket were 127* 6, 47, 1 and 4.
Hardly banging down the door for selection.
Once again picked on ODI form and not hard runs made in first class cricket.

Should have been Hughes.

If people would stop tearing his game apart and just let him play he'd be fine.

His "suspect technique" didn't seem to be a problem until people started telling him it was.

Lehmann would have been the perfect coach for him too.

If Darsh fails maybe they'll fly him in.

Lol Hughes. Even when he did get dropped in 2009 he was backing away from the ball and jumping around like a gimp.

Anyone could score a sh*tload of runs feasting off balls short and wide all day.

James Faulkner has been ruled out of Australia's Test tour of South Africa due to a knee injury and Shaun Marsh and Jackson Bird are still in doubt and will remain in Australia for further assessment while the rest of the squad departs on Wednesday.
Faulkner has been replaced in the squad by fellow allrounder Moises Henriques, who played his only three Tests on the tour of India early last year and will fly to South Africa after playing in Wednesday's first Twenty20 against England in Hobart

Suprised I must say.
