At this stage only alledged, and hopefully for the sake of the game that is all.

Nah..as I said Canberra played the Bulldogs half an hour away from the Coast...they could have been staying there...

So its down to the Broncos, Storm, Canberra, or Bulldogs

Logan is on the southside of Brisbane closer to the Gold Coast. I think that'd rule those two teams out.

Poor choice of headline, especially if it turns out to be a copy of the "Tigers Gang Rape" bullsh*t in the DT a few years ago...

players shouldnt have to conform to the Media's pathetic moral standards IMO.

If it's consensual , I say have as many gang bangs as you like.
Sure thing. But the consent issue is something that always seems a bit touch and go when these things are repotred, especially when it involves groups of footballers. Otherwise there'd be no problem, and no story.

Someone might choose to consent to having a go with three players, but when the fourth guy (who's filming it on his mobile) drops his dacks and thinks he's got a right to get involved, that's where the trouble usually comes.

Seriously, if we want our game free of these consent allegations in the media, then we have to educate players (rather than give them excuses), about how to minimise the risk of getting their behaviour being spread through the media to the detriment of the whole game.

If sticking to good old one-on-one sex is the way to do that, then let's educate them all that once the 80 mins are over, everything in life doesn't have to be a team sport.

Apparently only one RL player, and not an NRL player, - 2GB 6pm news
Well that's getting a bit better for the game... but it's still bad news for the code that could be avoided with stronger education and stronger punishments for bringing the game into disrepute, imo.

yeah, this culture in rugby league needs to stop, its bred into players very young with end of season trips and drinking at 14/15 and trying to impress their mates by how many girls they can get whilst on tour.

This player should be disciplined by their club for bringing the game into disrepute through their behaviour, and if a charge is laid they should be suspended until the hearing, and if a charge is proven at the hearing they should be sacked. Simple.

For people worried about false accusations against footy players because of their public profile, then the answer is simply that they should be a bit more choosy about where they stick their dicks...

I'm quick to offer a simple solution to what is a perennial problem for our code.

It doesn't really matter whether "the behaviour" is all one on person's part or another. The reality is nearly always a bit of both, otherwise there wouldn't be an allegation.

But are you disagreeing that if league players were more choosy about where they put their dicks that we'd eventually see less headlines putting our game down?

Are you disagreeing that if the game takes responsibility for educating players from an early stage we'd eventually see less headlines putting our game down?

Are you disagreeing that if more players were reprimanded by their clubs/employers for bringing the game into disrepute (like many of us would be reprimanded if our leisure time behaviour brought our employers names in the papers or into disrepute) that we'd eventually see less headlines putting our game down?

While people wait to point fingers at the woman, or the media, there are simple things our game could be doing to better look after it's public image.

I personally think the game has done enough for these blokes. Having said that, these are younger blokes in NSW Cup who may not have had the chance to be educated on this stuff.
