Tests supposedly underway in Wellington tomorrow, but I would say day 1 will be at least interrupted by rain. It's shockingly dismal here at the moment.

Boult bowling with the wind is bowling left arm off break like. Bend your back son or you can trundle into it.

Funny seeing CDG bowl with the wind but Boult bowled absolute tripe. How embarrassing that he got hooked for CDG on the first morning of a Wellington test.

Good little comeback from Boult to get that wicket. Tamim was in the process of making Boult his bitch

I have my doubts on DRS. Watching live I was amazed he wasn't given out LB to CDG. Got referred and allegedly it was only clipping.

Still, 56 out of 60. Amazing proportion of runs on a greenish wicket.

The run coming to save the Kiwi's

Bangladesh's morning for sure- but I don't think we were at all glad to see the rain. Also, Bangladesh hasn't won a game on this tour. I think we have cause to be confident of a recovery

Not with the tripe they were bowling. In all truth, look at the massive number of wides in the limited overs games. The lack of attention to detail and accuracy is quite alarming.

Surprisingly the one bloke who seemed settled on a length was Wagner. Boult was bowling short and wide mixed with half volleys and Southees first stint v his next one were chalk and cheese. I sense a century from Hominul.

Hopefully there's a situation vacant ad soon for a bowling coach. Donald and especially especially Bond had them firing, the plodders since must bear some responsibility

Boult hasn't been the same since the back injury, sadly

All that said as Serena would say those were the least favourable astmospheric conditions imaginable for bowling

This throwing the ball back at a batsmen by bowlers has got to stop. Shakib could have been seriously hurt and there was absolutely no need for it. Stupidity that's been allowed to go on too long.

Iirc they extended Jurgensons deal recently. I thought the signs were awful in the limited overs format. First couple of games, I understand there may be wides, but it never was addressed and it got worse and kept Bangladesh in games they had no right to be in. The results were misleading in that the bowling was ordinary and it generally took a Williamson spell to get them home.

In this match their lengths have been poor and they have bowled both sides of the wicket.

I believe it may have been under Bracewells regime where his philosophy was to keep hitting the deck hard and dot it up. The stats showed if you dot them up players make mistakes.

Finally a good ball and a wicket.

Straight through mid offs hands and legs turning a maiden over into a last ball four. Poor from Kane.

Got questions on Kane as a captain. No adventure in his captaincy. Standard fields and very slow to change the bowling around. Boult and Southee and then CDG and Wagner were bowled into the ground before finally the spinner is brought in for a trundle.

They are IMO missing McCullum. He was a bit of a talisman who invented pressure options. I feel we are going through the motions at the moment.

550 easily on the cards. Very uninspired effort again today. Seems if Wagner can't bounce blokes out that they have nothing left to offer. Very lame.

Santner must be feeling awesome. When Shakib was on 5 he gave an absolute dolly to Santner at square leg who was day dreaming and dropped it cold. He's a jack of all trades master of none exponent. In test cricket he is never seemingly under pressure for his place.
