Way too much pressure on the lower order due to the inept performances of Patterson, Morgan, Rohrer and Gibson.

What has Gibson done wrong?

Rohrer will go out when Watson comes in, allowing Patterson to drop down the order. Green has been a reasonable T20 bowler, had three good overs v Sixers (then blew his figures out in the fourth). I've been disappointed with McKay, he was reliable last season but has been poor so far.

Wonder who they will bring in to replace Morgan when he heads to India

Thunder spun out by the Renegades. With Hoggy & Narine in the team you would think they will be there at the business end. No one could read Narine, although Cummins hit & hope worked for a bit. Cummins is showing more with the bat than the ball ATM.

Double header tonight. Sixers v Hurricanes, so the crowd gets to boo the shit out of Broad all night.Looking at the Hurricanes squad & i see Shaun Tait & Tim Paine are still alive. They will need Bailey & Sanga to fire.

Sixers were good away from home & if they can win all their home games will probably make the semis.

2nd game Scorchers v Strikers. Scorchers first game without Hoggy. S Marsh's first knock since getting hurt (again), Agar seems to be the one handed Hoggy's job.

Strikers choked up at storm at home in their first game, and will be hoping they can get some help for Pollard.

My tip for tonight ; I will be blind by the innings break in the 2nd game.

Smarsh not playing, add Paris, NCN and Behrendorff to that list. Can't say the side is looking that strong

They will rely on Johnson big time. Big risk as he wasn't the same bowler after Phil Hughes died, lost all his fire & looked scared to bowl the throat ball that made him dangerous (when he was on).
