Everyone drops catches. Even the best fielders spill a sitter every so often. The thunder are just dumbos. Nothing suspect over a bunch of cricketers shitting themselves when the pressure is on. It happens all the time.

Errors breed errors, and that was the case with the Chunder last night. They really miss Huss and Kallis, someone to calm things down in the field. If one of the 4 catches they grassed in the last 4 overs are held they probably win the game. Felt for Junior in the box, he rarely will admit a catch is difficult, so to see 2 sitters put down and 2 tougher chances end up going for 6, you could tell he was burning.

When I look at Mitchell Johnson, he looks like someone who is just playing purely for the paycheck these days. He seems to not be interested in the game.

The man is 35, has injury troubles, and has retired from everything but T20 domestic competitions....I'm interested in what else you reckon he'd be playing for!

He must be the oddball, I swear all the others who have retired from international cricket are there to grow the game of t20 rather than a paycheck

The Scorchers are batting Willey way too low. He opens in the UK for his county.

They've got a lot of batsmen to fit in though, to be fair. It'll be a reasonably scary proposition if they really get going this season.

I agree....prob the best batting lineup of the BBL

The Heat might have them covered in terms of a pure T20 lineup and the fear factor....the Scorchers have a lot of solid players you can probably count on for 20-30 most games but Klinger, Bell, Voges and even the Marsh brothers aren't exactly the class of Lynn and McCullum, especially in terms of strike rate. But the Scorchers probably have a bigger score in them purely because they can rely on those guys I mentioned every game, so blokes like Mitch Marsh, Whiteman, Turner and Agar can pretty much go ballistic.

The Heat can't bowl, though.

Yep....so much pressure on those Heat batsmen to produce every game.
