Splashed out on the Wells Sticky Toffee Pudding beer tonight. Really drinkable, and not sickly sweet.

Top beer.

yep tried that one last night... very very tasty..

enjoyed it so much i may have done nasty things to the bottle afterwards...

I have fancy beer. Holgate Brick Kiln Wheat. Tasty stuff, not gonna try to describe it though, no idea even where to begin.

Eleysian dragons tooth stout, it was delicious, velvety chocolate goodness.

It was even better after the bartender comped me the bill.

Gavroche "Fermentation Haute" Specialite

Beer aged "sur lie", or on lees like some wines. Very buttery red ale. Wouldn't want too many because:

A\ It weighs in at 8.5% ABV while tasting like 1/2 that strength
B\ That buttery taste will probably give you gout

Tastes great though.

There's something wrong in the world when a bar charges $8 for a Budweiser and I pay it more than once.

Tried some NZ local craft beers when there last week. Not too bad, the one that stood out was a pale ale called Epic.

They claimed it had a lot of favour and they weren't lying about that.

Definitely not a sessionable beer, at least not for me.

Having a paddle atm at the local taphouse in darlinghurst.

The Coronado coedonado goes down well. Toffee coloured and sweet at first but doesn't linger

Dogfish head Indian Brown ale.

So sweet and smooth, great toffee and brown sugar throughout. Surprised me that it was 7.2%

A top class drop.

Had a couple beers with dinner tonight. Had the old reliable One Hundred & Fifty Lashes as well as trying the Feral Hop Hog. Liked that last one quite a bit.
