Crown Lager Golden Ale / Black Label - as shite as you might think it would be

It can't possibly be as bad as the Crown Pilsner they came out with a decade or so back. Horrendous on every level. If it is indeed as bad that's one hell of a special effort.

I'm having a Cascade Pale Ale. Now in a 4 pack. merkins.

i love most wheat beers..

what I'm enjoying about this one is the smoothness of it, compared to most wheat beers which have a 'bite' to them..

I've loved wheat beers ever since my ex from Idaho introduced me to Widmer Heff. It's been a love affair in the five years since.

I spotted an intriguing looking sticky date pudding beer the other night, but at 85rmb ($15) for a bottle, I've not yet tried it.

Splashed out on the Wells Sticky Toffee Pudding beer tonight. Really drinkable, and not sickly sweet.

Top beer.

Founders Breakfast Stout

Wonderful. Strong flavour - coffee & malt

Had this on Sunday night.... MY GOD it was sensational!

Also, if you haven't tried it yet, you guys have to taste Feral Hop Hog. I was literally blown away when I tried it.

Since I'm up this way, grabbed 3 different New Englander beers from Uralla.

Pale Ale was pretty run of the mill, okay but no world beater.

Brown Ale was well flavoured, bit overcarbonated in my opinion. Would buy it again.

Dark Ale was the pick of the bunch. Plenty of coffee, dark chocolate, and molassas flavours.

There are microbreweries in the New England?
