It does look very much like sharks are setting up a business model with enough diversification to be safe ,and flexible enough to suit whatever direction the NRL takes. Biggest danger I see is the usual one of suddenly coming into money after lean yrs and overspending .Just on a side note ,If I were a stains fan Id be secretly burning all the red and white gear ,studying up on the Sharks history and keeping a low profile for awhile, till it was safe to come out of closet when all the celebrations of sharks success is in full swing. Anyway I Thank F**k Im NOT a stains fan!

What I don’t understand is… if he’s already decided he’s staying with the Storm, why wouldn’t they just announce it - it would surely help them the earlier it’s out there as helps with signings, sponsors etc. There’s no way they’d be sharing that info on the quiet as it would 100% get out, so they’d have to announce it, which tells me Storm don’t know his decision yet.
Which brings me back to, we must be in with a real shout - the longer it goes, the less likely he is to stay I reckon.
