The Cronulla Sutherland Sharks have pulled off the greatest heist in Rugby League history by agreeing to terms with Super Coach Craig Bellamy. The deal is set to be announced in the next 48 hours.

There is a twist, as part of the agreement the Sharks will play six of their home matches on the Sunshine Coast in 2022 and beyond with a view to becoming the Sunshine Coast Sharks.

The NRL are delighted with the news as they push towards national expansion particularly in Queensland.

In other news, Cronulla will be announcing further signings as the dominos continue to fall into place for the Shire Club.
