I just don't think Broncs get him, I think that is his 3rd option.

I think it pans out 2 ways.
Bellamy - Sharks.
Flanno - Storm.
Or.
Bellamy - Storm.
Flanno - Sharks

Are you of the opinion this acquisition is for the head coaching job? Cos flanno won’t be a coaching director wherever he lands.

I don't think we are a long way down, if Buzz and Riccio are to be believed we were about to sign him and announce him as a Christmas present to the fans until his Mrs got sick.
I'd say now we are in the process of tweaking his role for a remote role with the need for him to be in Sydney twice a week.

And for a coaching director role, aside from maybe here full time for the first transition bit I think would be completely acceptable only being here a few days a week. He's not here to be HC after all.

And you can do a fair bit remotely which COVID has proven. As an example The Storms head of recruitment lives in the Sunshine Coast, has for ages, if not always. Seems to work for them.

Would kinda be pointless for their recruitment guy to be based in Melbourne anyway given there are SFA players to recruit down there.

Not with Flanno, he will be head coach of one of these clubs.
I don't think we will appoint coaching director if miss out on Bellamy

He would walk up and down the surf beach in his budge smugglers all day long.

Much better than the freezing cold of bleak city with the climate change louvies.

Melbourne is the only place that could confine his long schlong to a set of speedos.

There’ll be deep drag marks from North Cronulla to Boat Hatbour after his morning jog.

Does this lovers tish between the Storm and Broncos help our chances off Bellamy? He might like to avoid the drama.
Other thing is the Donkeys have offered him a 10 year contract.... we have offered him 4. Belly has said he only wants a 3 or 4 year contract then reassess after that. I think Stake is on the money.... second Brisbane team are a chance..... Donkeys are a desperate shambles atm.

With how Bellamy has built that Melbourne empire, and the ethos he’s instilled around team first, accountability, integrity to the group, I just can’t see him going to the Broncos given the bitterness between the 2 clubs.... Players who leave that Melbourne system never talk about their secrets, they don’t even talk about what goes on in their wrestle room - they never ever shit on or bad mouth the Melbourne club, even if they’ve left not on great terms, so I really can’t see Bellamy going to the Broncos and going against everything he’s built at the Storm.
So, I’d say we’ve more chance than the Broncos, but I just can’t see him leaving the Storm for anywhere else. They’ll give him whatever he wants - they’ll pay him however much he wants, they’ll let him live and work wherever he wants, they’ll give him whatever job he wants, on whatever terms he wants..... why would he leave?

Yeah I see him staying at the Storm being the most likely, he can keep an eye on the club he built, make sure it's in good hands for when he eventually steps away and they'll pay him a f**kload for working part time.

Can't blame him.

Prob most likely is something between all the options...maybe a one year role as part-time coaching consultant at Melbourne to help the transition with a move to the second Bris team as coaching director once it's announced

Broncos are shambles we know issue with Cartwright on weekend as being in courier Mail, CEO dispute between Storm and Broncos now in court, they are panicking knowing 2nd Brisbane team is announced in 3 months, all the negative stories will effect sponsors for sure.

2nd Brisbane team comes into play if they get Bennett, Bellamy is out of equation, but should they not he would have to be at top of order.

Sharks us, If Bellamy comes here as coaching director the feel is Bomber will stay, otherwise Flanno will be head coach.

Storm two options Bellamy stays as coaching director, they appoint someone he wants, he leaves Flanno I think gets head coaching role.

The factor I think is important Flanno/Bellamy great mates takes holidays together, coaches origin together, in a way similar but different.
