Ungrateful prick. F*** Off & never come back!
If the NRL ever let this prick back it will be the biggest joke in sport.

I don't understand the twisted panties of people here when a player decides to play another code eg Hayne, Barba, SBW, Burgess (to a lesser extent) etc. Honestly, people act like they've been dumped by their boyfriend.

When they inevitably return to NRL with their tale between their legs - and I think most of the good ones do - isn't it testament to the fact that NRL is the better sport or, if they don't, at least prove that the NRL is able to develop the better athletes?

My biggest issue is the NRL not communicating with the club or with Barba about when he would be allowed to train, when the contract would be registered, etc. He made a dumb move, but the lack of any communication from the governing body was leaving both in limbo.

There were reports that the NRL were going to add money paid to Barba so far to our salary cap. That's right, a contract that wasn't registered is going to count. It's a joke.

Its not hard to upset sharks fans. If the contract isn't registered why were you paying him? Lol that's the sharks being stupid not the NRL.

Love the article in today's paper with poor little Benny all upset at his unjust treatment.

So all that you have done wrong is 2 drug incidents, hey Benny?

Poor little victim chooses to forget about Uncle Todd and his magic broom sweeping all the other crap under the rug.

But no, Ben aint playing the victim, is he????........

Yes the NRL should really have investigated his punch up with Feki. Almost derailed our GF campaign.

He is referring to Barbas exit from the Dogs and a certain picture of a lady with a black eye that was doing the rounds not long after.

I didn't think the interview was that bad he didn't really take any shots at the NRL, he is entitled to have his say. I wish him al the best and would like to see him back one day, I just find it silly that people are trying to put this on the NRL.

oh the probe that the NRL did in fact launch but which she rejected and consistently denied being a victim of DV, despite media speculation. Big cover up by the NRL there.

Anyway I agree that it was his choice to go for big bucks when he didn't know what was happening and couldn't wait any longer. He has a sly pop at the NRL for radio silence and not letting him train when others were. Fair enough in my books, but yes that's what the NRL do.

Why was it 'eventually launched' rather than being done as soon as the dogs passed on the info to the NRL? Or did the dogs not pass on that info? Lol something dodgy happened there 100 percent. Toddy had just started or just been announced in his new NRL role, it would of been an extremely bad look for an under pressure CEO if something had come from that 'investigation'.

No other players who were sacked by their clubs have been allowed to train with that same club, don't know what poor Benji's on about really.

I think the opposite actually.

Nice analysis. There must be hundreds of them wanting to, right?

I'm pretty sure that even if his contract was registered he still wasn't able to train with the club until a few weeks before his suspension was up. That could be normal, I dont know, but thats where the general feeling of unrest comes from.

Packer was allowed to train with the Dragons
Wicks with the Knights
Taylor with the raiders
All before the NRL registered their contracts.

thats probably what he was getting at.
