This bullshit about taping players on the shoulder is crazy as the players still get paid and if no club wants them the club is stuck with the burden. Look at the Sharks with Moylan, Fifita, Dugan and co - couldn't tap or move them on and had to pay the players the whole lump. If Joe O wanted to stay at the Tigers he would have been paid but he got a better deal/opp despite wanting to stay - player wins.
