Not being rude your but numbers are likely assumptions based on rumours etc. so it isn't any more valid than what I could suggest so I am not going to get into a numbers game.dugan went for 50k more to save face and a nice bird to millward on the way out.
packer went for at least 300k per year more.
that's only an extra 350k between them not counting the 300k upgrade widdop got.
claiming hunt slightly cost less makes zero difference to the cap space available at the time before those players finalised their futures.
For what it's worth(and to be clear on your original question)most supporters are happy with signing Hunt. The general feeling is that Dugan leaving was more to do with ego than anything else. Packer(and Dugan) are losses but there isn't much b*tching that it was to do with Hunt and to keep asserting that is way off the mark.
