Funnily enough, I'm far from the only one that makes asinine comments about others, but you seem to ignore them mostly.
I think the link was both justified and appropriate - you have previously given Roberts harsh criticism and he has arguably been our best player this season. That and you said he should move to the centers.
This is a Ben Roberts thread about creating a suitable nickname for him. I would think the link is obvious considering many player nicknames are tinged with ironic or situational humor.
As for your previous comment saying I jump on "easy bandwagons"; what? How am I a sheep for making light of many different situations on this forum? Even then, what bandwagons do I jump on? The school of thought that Roberts doesn't suck and the philosophical debate of Hayne's best haircut? Please. Try supporting Daniel Mortimer and Steven Kearney consistently over a period of three years where both have had varying degrees of resentment directed to them by the Parra faithful for disappointing results.
How am I sheep exactly? I still don't get it. You angrily reacting to a simple joke and a calming message with insightful delights like "this shows off your character" through Internet banter is the purest form of irony. Better think about how you respond next time; it says more about a lack of perspective and understanding of the processes and foundations of the Internet than anything else.
If my comments really bother you so much, cry abuse and I'll stop. It's not that hard to tell someone to stop joking around. Fun fact; people do listen with their eyes.
