No comments v Titans?
Was as terrible as ever.
Next week will be a all time low - outplayed by Ben Roberts in every aspect of the game.

I think most of us are just over it. Marshal is as disinterested as ever and there is not much more to say about his performances that haven't already been said. He has played shit all season and I don't think any of us expect it to get better.

IMO there can be only one reason that Marshall is being picked in First grade every week,I'm assuming that when his release was negotiated he was guaranteed first grade so as not to devalue him on the open market

No, he keeps being picked because we've maxed out our srcond tier salary cap & can't bring anyone else in.

The club is in talks with the NRL about getting an exemption to allow Brooks to play.

The club probably feels obligated to let Benji play his 200th game for the club too

Bench has a sever dose of the Auckland blues.
Symptoms include inflated ego, poor co ordination and total lack of interest and YES
it is contagious! It is already spreading.
Remedies involve, change of environment, reality check and removal of inserted digit.

If you get the cap allowance for the second tier players.

I'd drop Benji and screw him out of his 200th.

He already publicly stated he didn't care much for Milestone games after the last Liechardt game.

I was happy to leave him play his last few games in the NRL side but he is talking up RU now (Auckland Blues and the All Blacks) and clearly WT and rugby league the last things on his mind. Our weekly game is suffering with his distraction and disinterest- either he gets back into RL mode or he can f**% off now and spend his last few games in State Cup.

As a marque player he is/was supposed to be a NRL promoter- he is doing anything but that now. Look at the press articles- surely they should be in the Ra Ra section not RL- the ARL / NRL admin would have to be concerned. Maybe WT should confront them that way to assist their argument on second tier relief to promote others in his place now, not next year.

well now that his future is secured, he might be able to focus on playing at least an average game for us.

Won't happen though

I'll be honest I haven't seen a lot of Brooks play but gee there is some pressure on him to get the team scoring points. We have looked like absolute sh*t the last few months without someone guiding the team around the field.

I am appalled at the performance of Benji. Had he wanted to leave the club on a high he has done everything possible to do the opposite. His lackluster performances say a lot about the guy I think.

Our young team next year might have pace and the ability to score points but without someone calling the shots in the halves we have a problem...shut down Farah and we go nowhere. I hope Brooks is ready for an ordeal by fire.

It's a bit like people who resign. They have broken their emotional attachment to the company. Why try and talk them out of it? They have more than likely gone for a couple of interviews but decided well before getting that 1st interview, to look elsewhere.

Now that it is official, there are no emotional ties, he has received his $$$'s he is now happy so, the Tigers receive nothing (except a win perhaps) in playing him (or Ayshford).

If they get the all clear regarding Brooks, play him and Siro at 6 & 7. It not, it has to be Anasta & Siro.

It cannot be Brooks and Marshall, what would be the point.

Just heard Benji has signed with Auckland Blues yawnion .

Cant believe any club in any code would go near him. Iam afraid Benji is playing the best he can,he aint going to get any better and my guess the Blues will flick him after one year as his form and his ability to adjust to union will hit a all time low

He isn't playing at 10% of his best. His mind hasn't been on the job for 12 months and the role he is trying to play does not compliment his skill set and ability.

His last 2 years is going to leave a sour taste in my mouth forever.
It will always overshadow his first 8 years.
Sad but true.

Is reporting that Benji Marshall is to be left out for fridays game and that the club is doing everything to give Luke Brooks his debut.

Quite sad to see him being dropped but if anyone has seen his performances the last few weeks its thoroughly deserved. Benji just doesnt look like he wants to play for us anymore.
