I really do think the dogs are going to have a go at Benji

To play fullback? They wouldn't be messing with the Hodkinson/Reynolds combo I wouldn't think.

For me Benji could only play halves, but i'm ok with that and bumping Robbo to hooker. Bit of a worry defensively though considering the work Robbo does on the fringes.

Is there enough room in our squad for two prima donna's (sp) or are they going to butt heads and cause a rift in the team?

Maybe it's time to play like the Tigers use to, and just out score the other team.. I'd do what Frenzy said.

6 Marshall
7 Carney
9 Robson

I'm surprised Quigs hasn't used his photoshop skills yet.
Marshall's head on a Sharks players body, c'mon Quigs

If - and it's a big if - the Sharks secure Marshall, he'll play in the halves. Robbo to hooker.

Warriors, Broncos and Dragons also in the mix.

I'm think if he does come to our rabble.
87% chance it will be a complete failure
10% chance it will be a break even - not good not bad situation.
3% chance a massive success.

I'd still take the chance.

More importantly, the move could be a huge commercial success to the club - vital to an organisation still lacking a major sponsor.

Kevin Kingston and Daniel Mortimor played hooker in that grand final run.

Robbo was halfback.

Robbo deserves to stay at halfback.

Carney or Marshall to fullback if it happens to give us a third kicking option and a 3rd play making option.

You'll need the developers to build a second set of dressing sheds for starters

It's down to Cronulla or Melbourne.

He and his wife want to stay in Sydney, but the sticking point for us is how much money he will request in the future, not just this year.

Also, Daniel Mortimer played 5/8 for the Eels, Robson was half back.

Robson played hooker for us in the lower grades until he got called into first grade.

The sticking point would have to be is he still up to it. Surely we would look at a Carney style contract where the 1st year is "Modest" and the 2nd year based on some good performances. I would think a professional outfit like Melbourne would insist on that. But geez he would be scary in their spine.

Thing is the bloke wants a spot back. Beggars can't be choosers. Hopefully his wife has bigger balls than him.

I find this comment interesting.

Not only what would he be commanding, but where are they plucking the amount from? Do his management go on form from last season? If so surely the ball would be in the clubs court and not benji's
